I stuck my hand out of the window and fired off a quick burst of my shutter. I had only a moment to change from my telephoto lens to my prime lens.
The were on all sides of the guides vehicle and moving fast. Finally on the 3rd and final day of the trip, a big herd of bison crossed in front of us while we were driving. The first couple of days went by and I got some amazing photos and had even better experiences, but I still didn’t get what I wanted. Prints are available on my website, link in my bio. I’m not trying to boast or be vain about this one, I just really am proud of this photo, and as my own worst critic that is a lot for me to say. I liked this one so much I debated on if I should even put in on IG, I didn’t want to take the value from it in anyway I guess.
But when I took this photograph I knew it was going to be monumentally better than the other one I took of bison. I went to Yellowstone with an idea in mind and I was able to capture that idea. This is my favorite photo that I have ever taken to date.
